Women’s Coffee, Conversation and Christmas

Calling all women! As we all know, Christmas will be here soon, (Advent begins on Sunday, December 3rd) and as simple as we try to make it, somehow we all get just a little bit more busy.
So….we were thinking that for our next Coffee and Conversation it might be a nice idea to combine our fellowship time with some Christmas preparation.
Are you interested in any of the following suggestions?
  • Patty Lyttle has offered to teach us how to make her home-made pickles. I have tasted them and they are delicious! They can be dill, horseradish, garlic, etc. Placed in a mason jar with a nice Christmas ribbon, they make a wonderful Christmas gift. The materials (including the jars) for the pickles will cost about $3.00/per jar.
  • Kathy Donegan makes beautiful, homemade gingerbread houses. Last year she helped me prepare the house so my grandson could finish it with decorations. A great idea for those with young ones in the family or for those who just love to decorate with a gingerbread house. Each house will cost $10.00. Kathy will prepare the pieces for the house ahead of time and we can assemble them that night.
  • Some women have suggested they would enjoy wrapping Christmas presents or bringing their Christmas cards and addressing the envelopes while chatting.
  • Of course, all women are welcome to come with whatever they choose to work on or to just relax together, too.
If you are interested in either craft or both, please click on the link below as soon as possible to RSVP. We will collect the money ahead of time so that all material can be purchased and ready to use. Looking forward to a night together preparing for Christmas — the celebration of our Lord’s birth!
