"Transforming Lives Through The Love of Christ"

CONNECT Valentine’s/Christmas/New Year’s Party!

So, here we go again!
Lord willing and weather permitting we will be holding a combination Valentines /Christmas and any other holiday you want party on Saturday, February 10th.
This party is for all couples and not just those who attend the Connect Group. It is a good way to meet new people and hear about some of the things we do each month at Connect.
If you are a regular attender, a sometimes attender or have never attended a Connect gathering, you are invited and we would love to have you enjoy the night with us. This is a one time event and you are not committed to attending beyond this party. Invite another couple to be a part of this fun night together.
As we advertised in our December invite, we are looking forward to a relaxing evening of laughter, delicious food and good fellowship. We will begin at 6:30 (a half hour earlier than usual) and as tradition has it we are asking that you bring either a hearty appetizer or dessert. Past favorites have included wings, meat balls, stromboli, pigs in a blanket and of course any and all desserts (esp. chocolate chip cookies.).
PLEASE click here to go to the sign up form and let us know what you will be bringing.
You will also be able to view what others will be bringing.
This year, besides eating, we will be:
  1. Doing a White Elephant gift exchange. The idea behind this is to bring something from home that you are no longer using or no longer want and gift wrap it to be put into a grab bag where the gifts will be either kept or traded away. For this year we will be doing ONE GIFT PER COUPLE. Please do not bring your junk or garbage but something that you have little use for or plan on giving away at some point. . (We all have those kind of items in our homes!)
2. We will be playing a game….Who knows…maybe it will be the “Newlywed Game” and if we are really good maybe God will let it be hosted by the one and only David Lyttle
We look forward to celebrating with you!
Blessings,
Steven and Susan
