You have a exciting opportunity to join a group from our church to spend a day serving with the Habitat for Humanity organization. Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Their mission is to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. You do not need to have any special skills or experience to participate. The date is Monday, July 13th from 8am – 4pm. Our group can only be a maximum of 10 people so its important to sign up asap if you are interested. I realize the date is a little ways off so we will also have an alternate list in case of last minute cancellations.
There is absolutely no cost involved other than providing your own lunch. You must be at least 16 years to participate. The project location will be determined as the date gets closer but it would be in one of three locations, Little Ferry (hurricane Sandy work), Bergenfield or Fairview.
