My family and I began attending HMC about nine years ago. My husband and I met Steven and Susan when our sons played soccer together on a town team. They invited us to attend a “40 Days of Purpose” Bible Study in their home, which proved to be a very meaningful and enjoyable study. We then went to the service and loved the people and the teaching.
We love going to the Sunday morning service, where God’s love is preached and lived. The music is wonderful and the message is powerful. My children feel loved and included. There are many small groups that my husband and I attend, and we are encouraged to grow and live according to God’s Word.
My husband and my family are the driving force for my life. They feed my soul and direct the path for my life. Because of them, I want to live a life that is an example of God’s love for me. In my career, I work as a 4th Grade teacher in North Haledon and my passion is helping children grow and learn. Also, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, hiking and playing guitar.
At HMC, I am the directory of Children’s Ministry. I coordinate the teachers’ schedules, order the curriculum, secure the supplies and equipment, and teach some of the classes for HMC’s children, from infants to Grade 8.
